This post is particularly poignant – it is my 100th post. It seems like a huge number to me and I can hardly believe I’ve reached that milestone.

For those of you who haven’t been with me since the beginning, I started this blog back in June – a short six months ago. The idea for the blog had been rolling around in my head for months. Ever-present. Calling to me. Asking.

I wanted to talk about things that I love – idea creativity, making money, and living life according to one’s own terms.  I wanted to provide a bit of inspiration and to share a tiny glimpse of what might be possible for us all. I wanted to meet like-minded people.

Finally, the time was right and I started.  A Multitude of Things was born.

I had exactly one reader to start with, my dear friend, Ronna Detrick.  Over the last six months, I have gathered a small but loyal group of readers spanning the globe – including Spain, France, Canada, India, and Australia. These readers have encouraged me, inspired me, and expanded my world for which I am incredibly grateful.

As I look back, I would not have had this amazing opportunity if I hadn’t listened to the music in my head. The melody being spun. The invitation to dance.

And it all started with a single step – as does every dance. And that step flows into the next and the next and the next and before you know it you are dancing. Beautifully. Held by the music.

The start of a new year is the perfect time to begin listening to the music of your heart. The melodies that ripple in the background of your daily round. The notes that pierce your consciousness. The beat that makes you want to get up and dance.

Is something calling to you?

Do you hear the music?

Will you accept the invitation to dance?

It only takes a single step.

Thank you for dancing with me.
